Story 1 - The People

As the NHRI Leadership Mentoring 75th Anniversary celebration comes to a close, the planning committee would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all of the Priceless People who have been involved and invested in the program.

To our alumni, donors, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Administration and Foundation, former and current staff and board members, mentors, mentees, parents, families, friends – your support, participation, and enthusiasm have been invaluable in making this milestone year truly unforgettable.

Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of bringing our history to life through 75 impactful stories, hosting a number of events, and launching the Legacy Giving Campaign to fully fund the NHRI Program Director position. Each of these efforts has been made possible thanks to your dedication and belief in our mission.

For 75 years, we’ve grown and thrived because of incredible people like you who have supported and joined us on this journey. Whether you’ve been with us from the very beginning as a member of the “Lincoln Project” or have recently joined as a mentor or mentee, your contribution has made a lasting impact on our program.

As we reflect on this past year, we are reminded of the profound truth that what we do matters and is needed in our world. What began at the University of Nebraska over 75 years ago has gone on to impact countless lives, shaping leaders and mentors who continue to make a difference in our communities.

Our journey so far has been incredible, but the best is yet to come. Here’s to the next 75 years of developing the future generation of leaders, who will carry our legacy forward.

With heartfelt appreciation,

Lisa Enstrom Glathar, 75th Anniversary Chair

A special thank you to my own NHRI Family: husband Matt (Teenage Project), twin children Lucy and William (JP South Project) with their Leadership Mentors, Alivia and Jack.
